CHASING MAN'S SEARCH FOR MEANING & PURPOSE
Quote
RETREATS  / MEANING@WORK

We spend the majority of our prime adult life in a place we call 'work'. Increasingly, people seek to do work which is meaningful and engage with workplaces that provide them with a sense of meaning and purpose.

Research shows that both individuals and organizations benefit when the workplace offers meaning beyond the paycheck.

Meaning@Work Retreats are intensive 2 day workshops to explore how organizations can make their workplaces more meaningful. This alignment of meaning and purpose can enhance employee engagement and productivity.

PRIOR TO THE RETREAT
WHO WALKS INTO THE WORKPLACE?
We focus on understanding the 'human-beings' behind the workers - their psychological self, their core life needs and aspirations, their personal journey-maps in life.

Methodology
Self-exploration through:
• Introspections -Self Audit
• Organizational Level Interviews

AT THE RETREAT
WHAT MAKES LIFE AT WORK MEANINGFUL?
We facilitate a journey with the team and explore – What would make work and the workplace more meaningful and emotionally fulfilling? What shifts in culture, rituals and processes would be energizing? What would motivate you to go the extra mile at work?

Methodology
Search for meaning through:
• Interactive exploration exercises
• Group discussions and storytelling sessions

AFTER THE RETREAT
HOW CAN THE ORGANIZATION HELP?
What are the first few steps the organization's leadership can take to infuse meaning into the workplace (based on the information gathered from the retreat).

Methodology
Design of a meaning program completed through:
• Presentation of Findings from Retreat
• In-depth discussion with leadership to formulate a plan of action.

Meaning@Work Retreats are conducted with up to 20 people per retreat. It involves group activities as well as personalized conversations with participants, culminating in a plan of action formulated along with the organization's leadership team.

Pre-retreat sessions are offered remotely and include conversations as well as assignments for the participants and leaders.

The Retreat itself is a two day getaway, ideally conducted in a venue close to nature, away from the work-place.

All information is maintained in strict confidence at all times.
